Altegent Executive Management

Mark Larivee, Chief Executive Officer and a founder of Altegent LLC, established The Aurium Group (Colorado Springs, CO), a financial services firm in 2001 that consults with leading accounting and law firms on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), business succession strategies, executive benefits, COLI, premium financed life insurance, and estate tax planning.  After working for World of Wheels, a family business that has grown to be the world’s largest producer of custom indoor auto shows, Mr. Larivee began his financial services career in 1990 as a Registered Representative for Metlife Financial Services, a position he held until leaving the company in 1995.  In 1996, he founded The Center for Financial Independence and The Planning Company, a boutique investment and insurance firm specializing in serving the needs of owners of successful, closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals; serving as CEO until founding The Aurium Group in 2001.  Mr. Larivee attended Eastern Michigan University; is a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow; and has held the following NASD licenses:  Series 6; Series 7; Series 22; Series 24; Series 63; Series 65.


Victor Urbach PhotoVictor Urbach, President and a founder of Altegent LLC, presently also serves as President of The Optran Group, a New York based multi-disciplinary consulting firm he founded in 1990 that advises owners of privately held companies regarding business development, transition, and exit strategies.  Mr. Urbach began his career in 1981 in the field of engineering at Brookhaven National Laboratory.  He later held project management positions at Sperry Corporation and Eaton Corporation; and, in 1987, became Director of Marketing at CAE Associates, a position he held until founding The Optran Group in 1990.  Mr. Urbach was graduated from Pratt Institute in 1982 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree; and, subsequently earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York in 1985, and a Master of Science degree in Management from Polytechnic University in 1988.
